To commemorate His Majesty the King’s birthday anniversary and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s 91st birthday, Emporium and EmQuartier have joined forces with various organizations, including the Support Foundation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture, Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Government Savings Bank. Together, they have organized the EMPORIUM EMQUARTIER SENSE OF THAI event, which takes place from July 26 to August 14, 2023, at The EmQuartier. This event features several activities, including:
Royal Video Exhibition
This exhibition honors Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya. Showcased are their royal duties, promotion of crafts from Thailand’s four regions, and their efforts to conserve a sustainable cultural identity. The exhibition is located at A SPACE, G Floor, Building A, The EmQuartier.
Thai Textiles Trend 2023 Exhibition
This exhibition displays Thai fabrics created by five leading Thai designers: Sirichai Daharanont from THEATRE, Polpat Asavaprapha from ASAVA, Bhubawit Kritpholnara from ISSUE, Wisharawish Akarasantisook from WISHARAWISH, and Thanawut Thanasarnvimon from T AND T. Thai Craft Fair
Shop for silk products, handicrafts, and community handicrafts such as Thai weaving fabric, basketry, artificial flowers, various ceramic works, and quality products from the model farm of the royal initiative of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at QUARTIER AVENUE, G Floor, The EmQuartier.
Opening Ceremony and Fashion Show
On July 27, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya will preside over the opening ceremony of ‘EMPORIUM EMQUARTIER SENSE OF THAI.’ The event will also feature a fashion show, showcasing design works inspired by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari, using Thai fabrics from the Support Foundation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and projects from all regions. Additionally, works by five leading Thai designers and masterpiece jewelry collections by BLUE RIVER, CHUCHAI, GEMS PAVILION, JASMIN, KARAT, RAJDAMRI, and SINCERE JEWELRY will be displayed at Q Stadium, M Floor, The EmQuartier.
