Utilizing Technology for Enhanced Work Efficiency
On July 7, 2023, the Koh Samui Municipality conducted a training session for its municipal officers. The training took place at 08:30 a.m. in the Petch Samui Meeting Room. The primary focus of the session was on utilizing technology to improve work efficiency. Mr. Manasvi Jitmanas, a computer science expert, led the lecture and shared valuable insights on how technology can be applied effectively in various tasks performed by municipal officers.
Developing Personal Skills for Optimal Performance
The training also incorporated practical exercises aimed at enhancing personal development and work performance. Participants were guided through several activities including:
- Practice of hand gestures
- Use of bird whistle signals
- Organizing and managing lines
- Standing in rows
- Traffic control practice
These exercises were conducted by four experienced lecturers from the Koh Samui Police Station and Bo Phut Police Station. The lecturers were Sub. Lt. Sophon Maksuwan, Sub. Lt. Nikorn Inthasuvan, Sub. Lt. Pongsak Boonmas, and Lt. Yuttachak Thongrod.

The primary objective of the training was to equip Koh Samui municipal officers with the knowledge and skills necessary to embrace technology in their day-to-day work. By doing so, they can effectively adapt to the ever-evolving digital age and keep up with modern demands.
