The primary goal of the Samui Safe Food City Project is to educate food business operators and handlers about the latest public health regulations and the importance of maintaining clean and safe cooking practices. The training is structured to benefit a wide range of participants, including:
- Restaurant employees
- Market vendors
- Street food vendors
- The general public interested in food safety
A total of 500 participants are expected, fostering a community-wide embrace of higher food hygiene standards.
Training Structure and Schedule
The food sanitation training is organized into five separate sessions or batches. Each batch will accommodate 100 participants to ensure effective learning and engagement. All sessions will take place at the Phet Meeting Room in the Koh Samui Municipality. The training dates and times are as follows:
