Introduction

The Cervical Cancer Screening Project officially commenced on August 28, 2023, with an opening ceremony led by Mrs. Suriya Chuangchaeng, the public health officer of Koh Samui District. In addition to Mrs. Chuangchaeng, the event welcomed members of the municipal council, municipal employees, and volunteer public health officers from Bophut Subdistrict. A total of 120 women from the target demographic also participated in the ceremony, highlighting the community’s commitment to addressing cervical cancer.
