Koh Samui District Area 1
This area covers Groups 1, 2, and 3 of Ang Thong Subdistrict, Lipa Noi Subdistrict, and Group 1 of Taling Ngam Subdistrict. The council members granted permission with 20 votes in favor, while the council president abstained.
Koh Samui District Area 2
This area encompasses Groups 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Taling Ngam Subdistrict, Na Mueang Subdistrict, and Groups 1, 2, 3, 4, and 4 of Mae Rat Subdistrict. The council members granted permission with 17 votes in favor, while the council president abstained.
Koh Samui District Area 4
This area includes Group 1 of Bophut Subdistrict, Mae Nam Subdistrict, and Groups 4, 5, and 6 of Ang Thong Subdistrict. The council members granted permission with 19 votes in favor, while the council president abstained.
Annual Budget Expenditure Transfers for Fiscal Year 2013
The meeting also covered the approval for transferring the annual budget expenditure for the fiscal year 2013 to establish new items and fund reserves. These included:
Office Furniture and Equipment
The council approved budget transfers for office chairs, meeting tables, and 25 chair sets for the Educational Office. The proposed budget for installing an audio system in the meeting room of the Educational Office was also approved.
Construction and Expansion Projects
Several construction projects received approval during the meeting, such as the extension of the document storage room of the Educational Office, and the construction of an emergency medical service parking garage.
Solid Waste Disposal, Traffic Signs, and Wastewater Issues
The council addressed additional agenda items like solid waste disposal, the installation of traffic signs to indicate routes, and the resolution of wastewater problems from business operators.
