On September 25, 2023, a special event took place at the Phetch Samui meeting room within the Ko Samui Municipality Office. This gathering brought together teachers, municipal officials, and members of the Education Office to honor Mr. Panom Wilairat, the municipal clerk, as he prepared for his retirement from civil service.
On September 22, 2013, at 09:00 am, the Municipal School 3 Samut Ram Temple in Lipa Noi subdistrict, Koh Samui district, hosted the opening ceremony of the Samut Ram Temple Academic Project for the academic year 2013. Mr. Pakorn Kanchanophat, the deputy mayor of Koh Samui, presided over the event, which brought together municipal council members, heads of government departments, school directors, teachers, educational personnel, students, and municipal staff.
The Futsal Competition 2013 kicked off with a grand opening ceremony on September 8, 2013, at 19:30 hrs., at the Koh Samui Municipality Stadium in Phru Chaweng, Koh Samui District. Deputy Mayor of Koh Samui Municipality, Mr. Sutham Samthong, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by the municipality’s executive board, council members, municipal officials, representatives from the education office, members of the organizing committee, athletes, youth, and honored guests. Mr. Pakorn Kanchanopas, also a Deputy Mayor of Koh Samui Municipality, served as the chairman of the organizing committee and provided an overview of the competition.
The “1 OBT 1 Herbal Garden” project is a communitybased initiative that aims to promote health and environmental consciousness among residents of the Koh Samui Municipality. The project focuses on planting herbal gardens at various locations throughout the region, encouraging locals to come together and participate in the process.
