Drowning is a significant problem that affects young children, particularly those under five years old. Often caused by environmental factors and a lack of knowledge about proper lifesaving techniques, this issue calls for communitywide efforts to address it. The “Little Kids Beware of Drowning” project was launched on September 1, 2013, to spread awareness and educate those involved in supervising and protecting children from drowning incidents.
