On September 4, 2023, at 1:00 pm, a significant event took place at Ban Ang Thong School, Ang Thong Subdistrict, Koh Samui District. Mrs. Jutarat Ruangchai, Deputy Director of Ban Ang Thong School, presided over the opening ceremony of the Lice Elimination Project. Participants included officials from Ang Thong Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, the Health Insurance Fund Committee, teachers, students, and municipal staff from the public health and environment units.
The “Little LiceFree Healthy Kids” project was launched on September 1, 2013, at Ban Bo Phut School, Bo Phut Subdistrict, Koh Samui District. Ms. Thanomkhwan Chokkanaphithak, the acting director of Ban Bo Phut School, presided over the opening ceremony. The event was attended by village health volunteers, health insurance fund committees, teachers, students, and municipal staff from the Department of Public Health and Environment.
