A former deputy manager of a wellknown private transport company has been apprehended for robbing a gold shop in an attempt to pay off his mounting online gambling debt. The 44yearold man, known only as Methee, was arrested near the Kluai Nam Thai intersection by Thong Lor police.
Sararat “Aem Cyanide” Rangsiwuthaporn, her exhusband Pol Lt Col Withoon Rangsiwuthaporn, and her lawyer Thanicha Aeksuwannawat have been indicted on attempted murder and colluding in theft charges. Prosecutors are still reviewing 14 murder cases allegedly committed by Ms. Sararat. The Office of Criminal Cases 5 in the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) issued the indictments.
A 45yearold taxi driver, identified as Sirichai, was recently arrested in connection with the theft of valuables worth 1.2 million baht from a Japanese businessman in Bangkok. The businessman, identified as Nammo, had fallen asleep in the taxi after a night out in the city. Sirichai was taken into custody from his room on Ekachai 40 Road in Bang Bon district.
