AAS Motorsport by Absolute Racing’s Vutthikorn Inthraphuvasak and Klaus Bachler put up an extraordinary performance at the GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS at Suzuka. Starting from 11th place, they claimed victory in the first race, marking the #911 Porsche’s first win of the season and strengthening Inthraphuvasak’s hold on the overall standings.
A Memorable Race for Bachler
Bachler celebrated his first visit to the famous Japanese Grand Prix venue with an outstanding victory. He and Inthraphuvasak showcased remarkable driving skills during the event’s third round at Suzuka Circuit, Japan. Inthraphuvasak began in 13th place, piloting the AAS Motorsport by Absolute Racing Porsche 992, and swiftly advanced to sixth position before handing the wheel over to Bachler.
Climbing the Ranks
Bachler maintained momentum and expertly navigated the track, overtaking competitors to secure the lead and ultimately win the race. This triumph instilled confidence in the team and solidified their position atop the GT3 Championship and GT3 ProAm divisions after six races.
Race 2: A Steady Performance
In the second race, Bachler started from eighth position on the grid. Despite facing challenges, he finished in 12th place. Inthraphuvasak, eager to regain ground, successfully reentered the top 10 and concluded the race in ninth position, earning two valuable Championship points.
