Overview

On August 21, 2023, a health check results presentation event took place at the Phet Samui meeting room in Koh Samui Municipality. Ms. Supinya Sritongkul presided over the event, which involved collaboration between the Koh Samui Municipality, the Health Examination Center, and the Occupational Medicine Group of Koh Samui Hospital.

Target Group and Health Examinations

The target audience was durian gardeners, other farmers, and individuals affected by chemical usage. The goal was to raise awareness about self-care and health. The health examinations included blood tests for blood cell count, blood sugar levels, blood lipids, kidney function, liver function, and blood cholinesterase enzyme levels.

Proactive Health Check Plan

This health check plan covers all seven subdistricts in Koh Samui, with the aim of identifying and supporting at-risk groups. Health check results are now available for collection on specific dates and locations throughout the region.

Health Check Results Collection Dates and Locations

  • August 21: Residents of Ang Thong Subdistrict can collect their results at Koh Samui Municipality.
  • August 22: Residents of Lipa Noi Subdistrict can collect their results at Koh Samui Municipality.
  • August 22: Residents of Village 1 and 3, Taling Ngam Subdistrict can collect their results at Koh Samui Municipality.
  • August 23: Residents of Village 2, 4, and 5, Taling Ngam Subdistrict can collect their results at Wat Khunaram.
  • August 23: Residents of Na Mueang Subdistrict can collect their results at Wat Khunaram.
  • August 24: Residents of Maenam Subdistrict can collect their results at Wat Ratchathammaram (Wat Sila Ngu).
  • August 25: Residents of Bo Phut Subdistrict can collect their results at Theepharatpittaya School.
  • August 25: Residents of Mae Nam Subdistrict can collect their results at Theepharatpittaya School.
