Forensic police have recovered 13 out of 15 files from a dumped CCTV server that had been installed at the house of former subdistrict head Praween Chankhlai, also known as Kamnan Nok, in Muang district, Nakhon Pathom province. The server, containing footage from a dinner party held on September 6, was removed and thrown into a canal in an attempt to destroy evidence following the fatal shooting of Pol Maj Siwakorn Saibua.
Two highranking police officers present at a dinner party during which a highway policeman was killed and another injured by a gunman in Nakhon Pathom last Wednesday have been transferred to inactive posts. The order, signed by Pol Lt Gen Thanayut Wuthicharasdamrong, the Provincial Police Region 7 commissioner, effectively moved Pol Maj Gen Jakkrit Kruasunthornwanich, the Nakhon Pathom provincial police chief, and Pol Col Phuphon Thapcharoen, the Muang station chief, to work at Provincial Police Region 7 headquarters starting Monday, September 11.
