Project Proposal and Target Group

Koh Samui Hospital wrote a project proposal and requested funding from the Health Security Fund to support this important initiative. The project aims to target a group of teenage students aged 15-19 years, with a total of 80 participants.

The primary objective of the project is to equip these students with the knowledge and understanding of how to address and resolve issues related to teenage pregnancies. Moreover, the project’s goal is to empower the young participants to cope effectively with any challenges that may arise.

Support from the Health Security Fund

Understanding the significance of the initiative, the Koh Samui Municipality’s Health Security Fund has extended its support and promotion to the project. The fund’s backing is critical to ensure the project’s success and broaden its impact.

Objectives and Key Areas of Focus

The project aims to raise awareness among students about the roles and values associated with being male and female in society. It seeks to provide them with knowledge on various aspects of sexual development, emotion management, sexual relationships, and the potential risks associated with teenage sexual behaviors. In doing so, the project aims to prepare the next generation to make informed decisions and lead healthy, responsible lives.
