Opening Ceremony
On September 6, 2023, at 9:00 am, Ban Bo Phut School in Bo Phut Subdistrict, Koh Samui District, hosted a special event. Mr. Silpchai Wanichjaroen, a member of the City Council, presided over the opening ceremony of a new project aimed at promoting physical development for elementary school children at Ban Bo Phut School. In attendance were members of the City Council, the fund committee, teachers, students, and municipal employees from the Department of Public Health and Environment.
Objective of the Project
The primary objective of this project is to provide services that focus on promoting health, preventing diseases, rehabilitating, and enhancing the capabilities of elementary school children. The initiative also aims to provide primary medical care at the grassroots level by organizing processes or activities that contribute to health promotion and disease prevention. The project ensures that students have access to age-appropriate activities that encourage physical development, which in turn fosters good health and helps keep them away from potential diseases and health risks.
Support from the Koh Samui City Municipality Health Insurance Fund
Understanding the importance of promoting physical development among young children, the Koh Samui City Municipality Health Insurance Fund has extended its support to the implementation of this project at Ban Bo Phut School. By backing this initiative, the Health Insurance Fund hopes to help the school achieve its goals for the betterment of students’ health and overall well-being in the future. This collaboration demonstrates the commitment of both the fund and the school in ensuring a healthy and active lifestyle for the young generation from an early age.
