The Exercise Project: Aerobic Dance for Health was inaugurated on September 13, 2023, at Wat Buntharikaram School in Bo Phut Subdistrict, Koh Samui District. The event aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among students by providing them with an opportunity to engage in proper aerobic dance exercises. The project was attended by teachers, students, municipal employees, and public health and environmental officials.
On September 12, 2023, at 09:00 a.m., Ban Bo Phut School in Bo Phut Subdistrict, Koh Samui District, hosted the opening ceremony of the Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease Surveillance and Prevention Project. Mr. Suchat Sriinsai, a National Health Security Fund Committee member, presided over the event. Attendees included the Fund Committee, officials from the Bang Rak Public Health Service Center, teachers, students, municipal officials, and the Public Health and Environment Department.
On September 6, 2023, at 9:00 am, Ban Bo Phut School in Bo Phut Subdistrict, Koh Samui District, hosted a special event. Mr. Silpchai Wanichjaroen, a member of the City Council, presided over the opening ceremony of a new project aimed at promoting physical development for elementary school children at Ban Bo Phut School. In attendance were members of the City Council, the fund committee, teachers, students, and municipal employees from the Department of Public Health and Environment.
On September 5, 2023, at 8:30 AM at Ban Bo Phut School, Bo Phut Subdistrict, Koh Samui District, Mr. Suchat Sriinsai, a committee member of the Health Fund, presided over the opening ceremony of the New Generation Teenagers: Be Aware of Accident Dangers project. The event was attended by teachers, students of Ban Bo Phut School, officials from the Health Promotion Hospital of Bo Phut Subdistrict, municipal staff, and the Department of Public Health and Environment.
On September 5, 2023, at 9:30 AM, Wat Phu Khao Thong School in Mae Nam Subdistrict, Koh Samui District, held the opening ceremony for the Exercise with Aerobics to Reduce Childhood Obesity Project. Miss Siranee Sisikajorn, Deputy Director of Wat Phu Khao Thong School, presided over the event. Key participants included members of the municipal council, health fund committee, teachers, students, trainers, municipal staff, and representatives from the Department of Public Health and Environment.
The Aerobics for Health project was launched on September 5, 2023, at Ban Ang Thong School, located in the Ang Thong Subdistrict of Koh Samui District, Thailand. The initiative, spearheaded by Mrs. Nuanchan Chotiroj Anan, Director of the Health Promotion Hospital of Ang Thong Subdistrict, aims to encourage physical exercise and health consciousness among teachers and students. On July 12, 2013, a group of Village Health Volunteers from Taling Ngam Subdistrict in Koh Samui, Thailand, joined hands to fight iodine deficiency diseases. This initiative, led by Anucha Sangsri, the Health Promotion Hospital director of Taling Ngam Subdistrict, aims to raise awareness and educate people about the importance of incorporating iodized salt into their daily diets.
The Joint Iodine Deficiency Prevention Campaign is an initiative launched on July 7, 2013, by the Mae Nam Subdistrict Health Promotion Hospital in Koh Samui District, Surat Thani Province. The primary objective of this campaign is to raise awareness and educate residents and businesses in the area about the importance of consuming iodized salt to prevent iodine deficiency diseases.
