A Spanish chef, Daniel Sancho Bronchalo, aged 29, has confessed to the murder of his Colombian lover, Edwin Arrieta Arteaga, 44, on the island of Koh Phangan, Thailand. According to police, Sancho dismembered Arteaga’s body and disposed of the parts in a landfill and the surrounding sea.
On the island of Koh Phangan, known for its Full Moon parties, a chilling discovery was made. Human body parts, including a sawedoff pelvis and intestines, were found inside a fertilizer sack at a garbage dump. More remains were later discovered in a black plastic bag, containing two legs and clothing items.
Samut Prakan police arrested a 23yearold man, Khajondet Jampathong, on suspicion of brutally killing and mutilating a 59yearold woman, Jitra Chantharunai. The arrest occurred on Sunday in front of the Charoenchai Condo 2 building on Soi Sri Boonruang 2 Road in Tambon Thepharak. The victim was Jampathong’s neighbor and worked as a municipal street cleaner.
Sararat “Aem Cyanide” Rangsiwuthaporn, her exhusband Pol Lt Col Withoon Rangsiwuthaporn, and her lawyer Thanicha Aeksuwannawat have been indicted on attempted murder and colluding in theft charges. Prosecutors are still reviewing 14 murder cases allegedly committed by Ms. Sararat. The Office of Criminal Cases 5 in the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) issued the indictments.
